Morph Comes Out to Eat
| I've eitiher cropped the pictures a lot of used small thumbs so the page wouldn't take a year to load. The enlargements are all the full sized pictures. When I was researching the gliders on the Web I kept wanting to see more pictures and more detail. For those who feel the same I've added all of these though they are certainly not going to get me any offers as a photographer! | |
| I noticed a few things my first night with the gliders. They are very curious critters. Although they were reticent about venturing out they were also interested in what was going on. Any time I put something in the cage or moved things around, they had to come and take a look. | |
| I'm still having a little trouble telling them apart. While looking at both of them it's easy and the male is much more outgoing. If I offer a treat the female will stretch out of the house just as far as she needs to to grab it (in her hand) and vanish back inside. While he is less likely to eat and run. | |
| The walnut meat offered above was accepted as an ok treat. In this picture he is reaching for and grasping it in his hand. | |
| Heiney against the house. Too funny. | |
Later Still |
|
| Around 3 AM no one (except me) had moved for a while and I wanted some action. I took a twig from Fenton's branches and rubbed honey on the last 3 or 4 inches of it then stuck the end in the top of the house where I had propped open the roof. | |
| I know they shouldn't have a lot of sweets but it was a special occasion and honey is a recommended "sometime" treat in one of the books I read. | |
| She was not very reticent with honey on the stick. | |
